LIVE Bagpipes with Jori Chisholm: A Few Tunes, Tuning, & Testing a New Mic & Streaming Set Up

Join me for a short 14-minute video where I practice a few tunes and tune my chanter using the InTune Mic and Braw Tuner. In this session, I’m excited to test out my new streaming setup for playing the bagpipes live on YouTube. My previous attempt had sound issues, but with a new microphone position toward the drones, I believe the sound is significantly better. I’m playing my Infinity Chanter, Foundation Pipe Chanter Reed, and Ezeedrone Combo Drone Reeds.

Video Transcript:  Thanks for watching! Thanks everybody. So I just thought I would play a couple tunes here, see how the sound was coming across. I’ve got a slightly different setup that I’m trying for streaming. The last time I played pipes live here on YouTube, the sound wasn’t as good as I was hoping it would be, so it changed a couple things on my end.

So if you’re watching, let me know how the sound sounds. I moved the mic towards the end to catch the drones a little bit more. So let me know what you think, post something in the comments there, and yeah, just playing a few tunes, practicing a few things, and seeing how this turns out on the live stream. So thanks for watching, and we’ll see you next time.
